When Grace Bay Club opened more than 30 years ago, it was the first luxury all-suite resort on Grace Bay Beach. In many ways it defined what a Turks & Caicos vacation would become: wide oceanfront suites, polished service and that impossibly turquoise water right outside. Three decades on, it remains one of the most beloved addresses on the beach. For honeymooners it has a particularly appealing trick up its sleeve.
The resort is divided into three distinct sections; one of them, the Hotel Building, is reserved for adults. Its 22 oceanfront suites were reimagined by interior designer Young Huh. Adults have their own infinity-edge pool. That means you get the tranquility of a kid-free retreat with the amenities of a larger resort: Infiniti, one of Providenciales' most romantic restaurants, a spa with a couples' room, a 24-hour concierge reachable by phone and 1,100 feet of powdery Grace Bay sand. Condé Nast Traveler readers continue to rank it among the best resorts in the Atlantic islands.

Front Row on Grace Bay
Grace Bay Club sits at the heart of Grace Bay Beach on the north shore of Providenciales, about 15 minutes from the airport. The beach here is broad, powder-soft and protected by an offshore barrier reef, so the water is usually calm, clear and swimmable year-round. Condé Nast Traveler readers have ranked Grace Bay Beach among the best beaches in the world.
The resort's location is central without feeling busy. You can stroll along the sand to neighboring restaurants or walk to the shops and cafés of the Grace Bay strip, yet the resort's low-rise buildings and lush landscaping keep the atmosphere relaxed. It is easy to spend a week here barely leaving your lounger, with a short ride to snorkeling at Bight Reef or a boat trip to the outer cays when you want a change of scene.
Choosing the Kid-Free Hotel Building
For honeymooners, the Hotel Building is the clear choice. Its 22 oceanfront suites, refreshed by designer Young Huh, come in three main types: Junior Suites, One-Bedroom Suites and Two-Bedroom Suites, each available in Grace Bay and Luxury lines. Expect generous living spaces, soothing coastal palettes and balconies or terraces that look straight out over the water.
The Villa Suites, a short walk away, are larger and family-friendly, ranging from junior suites to three-bedroom options. The Estate Residences are a resort within a resort, with four- and five-bedroom residences, beach cabanas and a private pool, better suited to a celebration with friends or family. Wherever you stay, a personal concierge is available around the clock via a dedicated mobile phone.
Infiniti and Other Dining
Infiniti Restaurant is the resort's signature: an oceanfront dining room where you hear the waves as you eat, serving modern, ingredient-driven dishes in a chic, candlelit setting. It is open for dinner only. A table at sunset is one of the most romantic reservations on the island. Next door, the Infiniti bar is famous for its long, sleek infinity-edge design that seems to merge with the sea; it has also earned a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.
For something more casual, The Grill handles relaxed beachside meals and the Infiniti Sushi Bar serves sushi and raw dishes. Krave and The Rum Shack offer laid-back options. In-room dining is available when you would rather not leave your suite. The sister resorts in the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio, including Point Grace, add even more choice nearby.
Why guests fall for it
The Spa and Beach Days
The Spa at Grace Bay Club has eight treatment rooms, including a dedicated couples' room, plus spaces for facials, body treatments and manicures and pedicures. A side-by-side massage after a morning on the water is an easy way to slow down together.
Most of your time, however, will be spent at the beach. Loungers and umbrellas are set up on the sand. The calm water of Grace Bay is ideal for swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding. Adults in the Hotel Building can retreat to their own infinity pool. The concierge can arrange snorkel trips, private boat charters to the uninhabited cays, sunset sails and, in season, whale-watching excursions.
Exploring Providenciales
Grace Bay Club's central location makes it easy to explore. Bight Reef, also known as Coral Gardens, offers some of the best beach-entry snorkeling on Providenciales, with reef fish and occasionally turtles. At Da Conch Shack, a short drive away, you can eat fresh conch salad with your toes in the sand.
By boat, a half-day excursion to Iguana Island (Little Water Cay) introduces you to the endangered rock iguanas. Private charters can drop you on a sandbar or deserted beach for a picnic. Rent a car for a day to explore quieter spots such as Taylor Bay and Sapodilla Bay on the south side of the island, which offer shallow, sheltered water and gorgeous sunsets.
Why Guests Fall in Love
Couples often say Grace Bay Club offers the best of both worlds: a refined, kid-free enclave in the Hotel Building and all the facilities of a larger resort on one of the world's most famous beaches. Reviewers frequently praise the spacious suites and the sense that every room faces the ocean.
The service is a recurring highlight, with guests describing staff who greet them by name and a concierge who arranges everything from boat trips to dinner reservations. Infiniti and its striking bar are singled out again and again for sunset cocktails and memorable dinners. Guests also love the beach setup, the attentive beach attendants and the walkability to Grace Bay's restaurants and shops.
Good to Know
Grace Bay Club as a whole welcomes families, with a kids club and family-friendly Villa Suites, so be sure to book the Hotel Building if a kid-free atmosphere matters to you. The resort is not all-inclusive. Turks & Caicos is one of the more expensive destinations in the Caribbean for dining, so budget accordingly.
The islands use the US dollar and flights from Miami take about 90 minutes. Nonstops connect Providenciales with many US cities, making it one of the easiest luxury beach honeymoons to reach. Peak season runs roughly mid-December through April, when rates are highest and suites book up early. Late spring often brings excellent weather and better value. Hurricane season runs June through November, with the highest risk from about August to October, so consider travel insurance for those months.
